Richard joined Frontier in 1997 and is a principal and portfolio manager for Frontier. He brings over 20 years of equity research and portfolio management experience to our clients and is one of three voting members of the investment committee. Richard was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 2002 and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Dallas - Fort Worth.

Richard is married with two kids and enjoys reading, CrossFit and spending time with his family. He prefers doing all of the above from his favorite place - Telluride, Colorado. He also is passionate about South Texas and the extreme poverty along the border. He spends time there each year doing service work and helping local ministers provide basic needs like food, school supplies and beds to the children in these communities.

Richard received a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
