John A. Schmit serves as a portfolio manager at Frontier. He brings over 20 years of investment management experience to the firm and is one of the three voting members of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining Frontier, John was a portfolio manager at Crestview Capital Partners from 2005 to 2008, and was vice president of investments for RENN Capital Group, Inc. from 1997 until 2004.

John is involved with a number of charitable organizations and is an active member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church.

John received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Christian University in 1989, his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1992, and his Master of Laws in International and Comparative Law from Georgetown University Law Center in 1996.
