Mr. Eric Kordsmeier joined Frontier Investments in Dallas, TX in the fall of 2011 to build Frontier’s Financial and Estate Planning practice. In the summer of 2018 Mr. Kordsmeier moved from Frontier’s home office of Dallas to Tampa, FL to expand Frontier’s presence in the Florida gulf region. Mr. Kordsmeier previously accrued 17 years of financial services experience that included Director and Wealth Management Specialist for Regions/Morgan Keegan based in Memphis, TN. While there, he consulted high net worth individuals and business owners on stock option and employee compensation structure, business ownership and succession planning, estate and income tax strategies, asset protection and family and charitable planning strategies.
Mr. Kordsmeier began his career with Arthur Andersen, LLP in their Tax, Legal and Business Advisory Services division. Following that five-year experience, he served as the Director of Benefits and Compensation at Orange Lake Resort in Orlando, Florida. Eric also worked with high net worth clients and business owners throughout the mid-south as a financial consultant with AXA Advisors, LLC for three years.
Mr. Kordsmeier is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner as well as an Accredited Estate Planner and is a member of the Suncoast Estate Planning Council. Eric is an investment advisor and maintains a life insurance license so he can advise clients on their insurance programs. Since 2015, Eric has served on the NAEPC council relations committee. Mr. Kordsmeier received his bachelor’s degree in business administration (BSBA - Accounting) from the Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. He received his masters of business administration (MBA) degree from the University of Central Arkansas, where he was recognized as the Outstanding MBA Graduate in 2004.
In 2014, Eric founded the not-for-profit organization Saints N Angels Animal Rescue based in east Texas, focusing on thoroughbred horse aftercare. Eric previously served on the board of directors of the West Little Rock Rotary Club and as a youth advisor with the American Red Cross of the Mid-South. Eric spends his leisure time as a thoroughbred breeder and owner and advocating for animal rescue organizations. Eric also enjoys writing business articles and outdoor activities such as running, kayaking and boating.
